Overview & Scope

This Privacy Policy describes how the "أجندة - Agenda" mobile application (referred to as "the App," "we," or "our") handles information when you use our task management, reminder, and checklist services.

The App is designed with a privacy-first architecture. It operates entirely offline, requires no user account, and performs all data processing locally on your device. This policy applies to all versions of the App distributed through the Apple App Store.

Information We Do Not Collect

To be completely transparent, the following is an explicit list of data we do not collect, access, or process:

• Personal identifiers (name, email, phone number, address)
• Device identifiers (IDFA, IDFV, or hardware serial numbers)
• Location data (GPS, IP-based, or approximate location)
• Usage analytics or behavioral data
• Browsing history or search queries
• Contacts, photos, or other on-device content
• Financial or payment information
• Health, fitness, or biometric data

On-Device Data

The App stores the following types of content locally on your device only, using Apple's SwiftData framework:

• Reminders: Titles, notes, dates, repeat settings, priority levels, and completion status
• Checklists: Group names, task items, scheduling preferences, and progress states
• Task Logs: Completion timestamps and performance history used for local statistics
• Preferences: Your selected language, theme, notification sounds, and display settings

All of this data is stored within the App's private sandboxed container on your device. No other app or service — including us — can access this data. If you delete the App, all locally stored data is permanently erased by the operating system.

iCloud Backup

The App offers an optional backup and restore feature powered by your personal iCloud Drive account. When you choose to create a backup:

• A JSON file containing your reminders, checklists, and settings is created
• This file is saved to a private folder within your iCloud Drive
• The file is encrypted in transit and at rest by Apple's iCloud infrastructure
• Only you can access, view, or delete these backup files

We have no access to your iCloud account and cannot read, modify, or delete your backup files. This feature is entirely optional. iCloud data handling is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.

Local Notifications

The App requests permission to send local notifications, used exclusively to deliver your task reminders and checklist alerts at the times you configure.

• All notifications are scheduled and triggered locally by iOS on your device
• No notification content is routed through any remote server
• We do not use push notification services (APNs) or any cloud-based messaging infrastructure
• Notification permission is optional; the App remains fully functional without it

AI-Powered Insights

The App includes an intelligent analysis engine that provides productivity insights, streak tracking, workload warnings, and personalized suggestions.

The analysis engine examines patterns in your locally stored tasks — such as completion rates, timing trends, and scheduling habits — to generate helpful insights. These insights are computed in real-time and are never stored, transmitted, or shared.

Third-Party Services

The App does not integrate with, or transmit data to, any third-party services:

• No advertising networks: The App contains no ads and no advertising SDKs
• No analytics platforms: No Firebase, Mixpanel, Amplitude, or similar tools
• No crash reporting: No Crashlytics, Sentry, or Bugsnag integration
• No social media SDKs: No Facebook, Google, or Twitter frameworks
• No network requests: The App makes zero outbound network connections during normal operation

The only external communication that may occur is through Apple's iCloud service when you explicitly initiate a backup or restore operation.

Data Security

Your data benefits from multiple layers of protection provided by iOS:

• App Sandboxing: Each app runs in an isolated environment. No other app can access your Agenda data.
• Hardware Encryption: All data on modern iOS devices is encrypted at the hardware level using AES-256.
• Keychain Protection: Sensitive app preferences are secured using iOS Keychain Services.
• Secure Boot Chain: iOS verifies system integrity at every stage of the boot process.

Since we do not operate servers or databases, there is no risk of server-side data breaches or unauthorized access from our infrastructure.

Data Retention & Deletion

Because all data is stored locally on your device:

• Retention: Your data persists as long as the App is installed and you choose to keep it
• In-app deletion: You can delete individual reminders, checklists, or task logs at any time
• Complete deletion: Uninstalling the App permanently removes all associated data
• iCloud backups: Backup files can be deleted manually from the Files app or from the App's backup screen

There is no data stored on our side that requires a deletion request.

Children's Privacy

The App is suitable for users of all ages. Since we do not collect any personal information from any user, we inherently comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), the GDPR provisions for minors, and similar regulations worldwide.

Parents and guardians can feel confident that their children's information is not being collected, tracked, or shared when using this App.

International Users

The App supports 40 languages and is available globally. Since no personal data is collected or transferred, there are no cross-border data transfers. The App complies with:

• GDPR (European Union General Data Protection Regulation)
• CCPA (California Consumer Privacy Act)
• PDPL (Saudi Arabia Personal Data Protection Law)
• LGPD (Brazil's General Data Protection Law)

No matter where you are in the world, your data stays on your device.

Your Rights

Under applicable privacy laws, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your personal data. Because the App does not collect or store data on external servers:

• Access & Portability: All your data is already in your possession. Export it anytime using the backup feature.
• Correction: Edit any task, reminder, or checklist directly within the App.
• Deletion: Full control to delete any data within the App or by uninstalling it.
• Restriction: No automated processing or profiling of your data beyond your device.

Policy Updates

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in the App's features or applicable laws. When we do:

• The "Effective Date" at the top of this page will be updated
• Material changes will be highlighted in the App's release notes
• The updated policy will be published at this same URL

Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
